Happening Saturday, April 5th | 11am -1pm at Findings Flea, located at 33 S. Palm St. Downtown Ventura.

Intro to Mending – Patching 

Mending your clothes is an old school, slow fashion practice. Extend the life of your favorite clothes, while also creating something that is uniquely you and tells your story. Mending allows you to maximize the value of your clothing.

This workshop will focus on applying a basic patch to cover a hole or tear in your clothes. The repair can blend in with a similar fabric patch, or add some fun with a contrasting pattern/color. Working samples can be provided, but it is recommended that you bring a piece from your closet to work on. Denim would be most suitable for this particular workshop, but any woven fabric item will work (think no stretch, we will avoid knits like sweaters and tee-shirts.)
