Happening Saturday, January 4th | 11am-1pm at Findings Flea, located at 33 S. Palm St. Downtown Ventura.

Sashiko is a form of decorative reinforcement stitching from Japan. Traditionally it was used to reinforce areas of clothes that were prone to wear or to repair holes and tears with patches. 

This workshop will focus on the basics of sashiko and adding patterned embroidery to your clothes. You can use sashiko to add a decorative custom design to your own clothes, regardless of if there is a need to repair. It is recommended that you bring a piece from your closet to work on.
