ABOUT THE FARM
Celinga Village is in the infamous coffee-producing region of Yirga Cheffe in Ethiopia. Yirgacheffe is actually a small micro-region within the larger region of Sidama (or Sidamo). But because coffees from Yirgacheffe or so distinct and well-recognized, they're grouped into their own category!
Like most Ethiopian coffees, our Celinga is comprised of coffees grown by various smallholder farms in the area. What ties them together is the washing station in Celinga Village. On average, the coffee is grown between 1780 and 1860 meters above sea level.
